I'm finally out of the triple digit countdown and into the double digits. YAY!! In fact, it's 97 days until the due date :)
This past week has been one full day after another, but we managed to get a lot accomplished and we managed to get some time together. That was probably the best part!!! Jared and I got 4 whole days together and still it didn't seem like enough. I think in order for us to feel like we spent enough time together, we would need a couple of months off ha! But overall, it was nice and I feel a little more like I can breathe.
Friday we did some relaxing and watched some movies. It was nice to have a day where nothing was required. The only thing productive we did was buy more veggies for our garden. We officially have tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, sweet potatoes, bell peppers, and jalapenos. I can't wait to start picking fresh veggies. We actually decided to expand our garden and plant even more stuff!!! Not sure what all it will be yet, we are thinking garlic, onions, corn, purple hull peas, and the list just keeps going.
Saturday we spent all day registering but at least that's out of the way now. We are registered at Babies R Us, Buy Buy Baby, and Target. By the time we made it to Target, we were both over the whole registering thing so the selection was not as wide lol! Babies R Us really ruined it for us. We spent a total of 55 minutes registering just to be told that NONE of it actually took and we had to re-register. Needless to say, we were both pretty fed up after that. Jared didn't even want to use the little gun thing anymore, that's how I knew he was fed up ha!
Sunday I got the nursery painted. Well, actually Jared painted the majority of the nursery himself, I just had an accent wall I wanted to finish up and thanks to his aunt we were able to pull it off.
However, our air went out so I was sweating and disgusting by the time I was finished.
Monday I got my car back, Jared and I went to lunch, hit up Lowe's for more paint, and headed home.
Overall we got so much accomplished and now this week (and mainly today since Jared's off) we have an A/C man coming to fix or replace the air conditioner, we have a plumber coming out to redo the rest of the plumbing under the house so my new dishwasher can be installed (FINALLY), we have lowe's coming to get the exact measurements so they can install the new carpet, and then it's time to replace the baseboards and set up the furniture in the nursery :) if anyone knows how to install cabinets or crown molding (or knows someone who does, that won't rip us off) please let us know!
