29 weeks

Well last week was chaos. Thankfully I'm starting to feel a little more normal again, if my life can even be described as normal. One more week of this month from hell and then I should be good. I feel like lately my mood has not been the best, so I apologize ahead of time to anyone that I have vented to here lately. It's just I'm fed up. I don't understand how I can have so much going on in my life and manage to keep going, but yet I can't get some people to complete even the simplest tasks.

I mean, how hard is it to install the carpet that has been paid for? Seriously?! I would like to give a shout out to Wes and his grandfather for our plumbing...they did an amazing job, were there on time, and completed in less time than they quoted. Not to mention some of the extras they did along the way. We will definitely be using them to do our cabinets as well :)  Which brings me to my next task...picking out the cabinets and getting them installed pretty quickly considering my old dishwasher has been removed and the new one is just sitting in my kitchen taking up space ha! Of course, it has finally made it's journey from the garage, where it sat for about a year, into the house now...and it's officially out of the box lol!

Next thing on the agenda (besides the cabinets and the final installation of the carpet, hopefully) is getting the Malibu sold. It's been listed on craigslist, but apparently no one wants it. If you know someone who wants a 2002 Malibu with 200,000 miles on it, we are only asking $2000. Just tired of it sitting in my driveway, paying insurance on it, and just bought a tag for it and we don't even drive it!!!

I could also use some help getting the other wall in my den painted. I'm just not able to do it by myself anymore, I've already bought the paint and painted one of the walls just not the other. Actually, I could use help getting a lot of things painted in my house hahaha!  I'd like to paint the master bedroom, the foyer, the hallway, the den, etc...haha!  But if those aren't complete before Blythe gets here it's no biggie. I mean, I can always do those later. The main things before she gets here are the cabinets and the carpet which are hopefully coming in the next week or two. I'm tired of waiting.

Well, I will stop my complaining...it's just I've been so weighted down lately I feel all I do is complain, but soon...very soon...I will not be complaining because I will be laying on the couch with my feet propped up like you are supposed to do when you are pregnant...not running all over town doing all my crap and everyone elses. Because today, this superwoman took off her cape and for the next 2 months I have an "I don't care" attitude. So instead of trying to be the best at everything, I'm going to give the amount of effort I feel like and then quit...that's what others seem to do so now it's my turn :)

28 Weeks

Nothing too exciting here lately. I'm having some back pain but not in my lower back, instead it's up towards the middle and top part of my back (like around my shoulder blades). Almost as if I've pulled muscles from leaning over. I find myself constantly leaning back then leaning forward trying to relieve the pain. It's not from bad posture because I focus on my posture a lot (especially now that I'm pregnant) so I'm not sure. Guess it's just one of the things we deal with :)  I sit a lot for my job and of course traveling, etc... so I try to find reasons to get up every so often (even if it's just to stand behind my chair or walk around for a few minutes). I'll be glad when this month is over and I can go back to getting off work at 5 and going straight home and laying on the couch lol!  I definitely need that!!!

Overall though, I'm feeling really good and she's doing great!

How far along? 28 Weeks and 2 days

Size of Baby: According to What to Expect.com, a small cabbage - 17 inches and 3 pounds

Total Weight Gain/Loss: well, I'm not too happy with it but my total weight gain since pre-pregnancy is 18 pounds...I put on 10 in the whole second trimester, none in the first trimester, and 8 in the last 4 weeks!! AHHHH!!!

Maternity clothes? of course

Stretch marks? one :(

Gender: girl

Belly Button In/Out: still in but very shallow lol!

Wedding rings on or off? On

Sleep: we are back to the crazy dreams and my sleep hasn't been too great...can't get comfortable (both temp wise and comfort wise)

Movement: all the time!!!

Food cravings: I'm not officially on the sweet kick. I spent the first two trimesters not really caring for sweets and now every time I eat something I feel I need dessert -- could be where the 8 pounds in 4 weeks came from lol!

Best Moment This Week: the dresser for the nursery arrived!!! pretty excited about that

Miss Anything? sleep or couch time

What I am looking forward to: putting the dresser together...hopefully Jared and I will see each other long enough in the next 7 days to get that accomplished!!!

3rd trimester :)

Well, I am officially in the 3rd trimester and as of Monday (the 4th) I am exactly 3 months away from Blythe's expected arrival. That's not only exciting, but a little intimidating. It makes me realize I still have a lot to get accomplished. The main thing I'm focusing on right now is baby bedding. Maybe I'm just too picky, but I am really struggling to find the baby bedding I want. I have a fear that I will eventually just say forget it and buy whatever and then be unhappy with it. So let's all hope that doesn't happen :)

I feel pretty huge right now and am actually scared to go back to the doctor on Tuesday and them to tell me how much weight I've gained. I was doing a pretty good job of keeping it to about 1 pound a week, but I'm pretty sure that has now officially ended.

I also discovered my first stretch mark over this past weekend and of course I cried. Jared came home from work and I showed him and his response was "I don't see any stretch marks". I then re pointed it out and he responded again with "yeah, still don't see anything. Besides you shouldn't worry about something as minor as that, we are having a baby and you still look beautiful!" And whenever I say how big I am he says "you're pregnant, you are supposed to be bigger. That means you are growing a healthy baby". Those are the reasons I love him. I know he saw the stretch mark (even though it's not in an obvious place and it's not big and purple or anything, but he still lied and managed to make me feel better.

How far along? 27 Weeks and 2 days

Size of Baby: According to What to Expect.com, a head of cauliflower - 16 inches and 2.5 pounds
Total Weight Gain/Loss: I'll find out Tuesday

Maternity clothes? of course

Stretch marks? one :(
Gender: girl

Belly Button In/Out: still in but very shallow lol!
Wedding rings on or off? On

Sleep: here lately I haven't gotten a lot of it, but when I do it's been good!
Movement: A TON!!! it's an all day event, but I love it and at times it makes me laugh
Food cravings: Doritos Locos Taco Supremes however I've only caved and gotten them like twice (or maybe three times)
Best Moment This Week: this week hasn't been too eventful and I haven't really seen Jared so I can't think of the best moment I've had
Miss Anything? not being so busy. thankfully after this month my schedule will go back to normal :)

What I am looking forward to: the lake, although I'm absolutely dreading putting on a swimsuit. I bought a tankini but am having second thoughts and it so maybe I need to go and buy an actual maternity one piece?

Have you started to show yet? Yes and I feel huge!!!  it's like it showed up over night ha!

PS- I'll probably post another picture when I get to 30 weeks :)
